Caroline Suh

Caroline is a director and producer whose credits showcase a wide range of cultures and subjects. Her Emmy nominated Salt Fat Acid Heat for Netflix featuring Samin Nosrat earned rave reviews for quietly subverting the conventions of food television and became a hit for presenting an alternate vision of what’s possible in food culture.

"Blackpink: Light Up the Sky" tells the story of the sensation of Blackpink, the most successful female Kpop group and premiered on Netflix.  “4%: Film’s Gender Problem” is a provocative original series exploring the issues around the striking gender gap in Hollywood. "Frontrunners," Caroline’s acclaimed documentary feature which premiered at SXSW, brings us into the world of high school student council politics and acts as a microcosm for the oval office. Caroline spent the past 3 years working alongside President Barack Obama and Obama production company Higher Ground on “Working”, a four part series for Netflix which explores the ways in which we find meaning in our work and how our experiences and struggles connect us on a human level.
